About Me

Jeff is one of the best examples of a career yacht broker you will ever find. Within nine months of graduating college in 1979 he was selling boats. With over 800 sales under his belt it's a safe bet to say he has been involved in just about every facet of yacht brokerage. Jeff has several strong points, the first of which is his seller's representation. Jeff's listing presentations are second to none and include a complete description of the layout, the equipment and the condition backed by copious photos. This serves both the seller and his vessel by giving maximum exposure and a clear understanding of the vessel by the prospective purchaser.
 
Once a sale is consummated, more often than not, Jeff is involved with a refit of some magnitude. Jeff prides himself on knowing the sub contractors and yards to work with to get a project done quickly and economically.
 
Jeff has also been involved in several new construction projects. The most notable is a 119' Crescent motoryacht on which he and the owner enjoy on an annual cruise.
 
Being the managing partner at Gilman Yachts of Ft. Lauderdale keeps Jeff's fingers on the pulse of the industry but not so much that he is not out selling! He averages 20-25 closings a year which keeps him busy and adds to his loyal following of friends and customers.
